- Eberhard ArnoldWe need not worry. We need not fear. A comfort is given to us: the Son of Man is coming. The hour is near, when he will come again. We shall not finish our proclamation, we shall not have traversed the whole of our planet, and Jesus will be there. Our pilgrimage will stretch from Germany to England, from England to America, to Japan and Russia, and back again to Germany. While we are thus traveling, Jesus will come.

The garden must be won back for God. God himself will conquer and rule it. But men must be ready to accept this rule of God. The kingdom of God has the same earthly sound, the same earth-color, as the vanished paradise. Sin, the destroyer, which has kept us from rejoicing fully in the earth, must be overcome.
